Explore a new history at Assassin's Creed Odyssey from now!
Temps: Sep. 12, 2019In Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, I was overwhelmed by the authenticity and level of detail of the game world. However, the highlight was ancient Greece in all its classic splendor and a new mode of educational discovery circuit aims to teach the history of this society through a game lens.
The free update, now available to all game owners, adds dozens of historical "tours" run by an NPC. During these visits, you will learn about the cities of ancient Greece, the life and crafts of the people who lived there, what they thought they had lived and how they were governed, and of course in the many famous battles of the time.
This is an advanced version of a similar feature developed for Assassin's Creed: Origins in Ancient Egypt. At that time, it seemed tedious, as in Odyssey, to create such a rich world and get there. Needless to say, other people in Ubisoft have the same attitude, especially the director of Discovery Fashion, Maxime Durand, who introduced such a feature ten years ago.
From the beginning, the players were in a period of carefully reconstructed history that offered diverse, but always fascinating, experiences of the real life of that past era. Any work that has contributed to persuasion can easily be applied, finally, perhaps not easily, but directly, to the education and enthusiasm of the player.
There are 30 discovery sites, each with its own visit and modern context. For example, a game artist can explain how to size, but you will also see a museum artifact that shows the process in "real life."
